Ava and I performed our civic duty tonight and went to the Democratic caucus. I was annoyed that it was only open from 6:30-8 pm, but we trudged over anyway (Scot was flying, so he didn't even have the opportunity to vote - no absentee ballots). I couldn't believe all the people there! We had to park several blocks away, it was a zoo! People around here are obviously ready for some change...
We went out for dinner on Friday night to a little neighborhood Italian restaurant about a mile from our house (The Little Oven - so good!). Dinner was great, Ava kept busy with a coloring book and stickers and then out of the blue, scolded Scot and said "Daddy, elbows off table!" and swatted at his arms. Ha! Our little Miss Manners. Gotta give credit to Vicki for that one...
