Scot just had 4 days off so we packed up and drove east on Saturday and stayed at the Hilton Oceanfront hotel on Hilton Head Island for 2 nights. The weather on Saturday was amazing - we hit the ocean and the pool right away and lingered for quite some time. Ava and Reese both loved it. Scot and I especially enjoyed the pina coladas. ;-) We fell into the same routine on Sunday morning (well, without the pina coladas) until about 1:00 when it started thunderstorming. It rained the rest of the day and night, which was quite a bummer. But we made due with napping, relaxing, and heading out for a nice dinner. The weather was still bad on Monday morning, so we made a fairly prompt departure and got back to Atlanta around 3 pm. All in all, it was a good litle trip and maybe we'll get back again before we leave the south in July.

Great pictures! I can't believe how fast Reese is growing, even since you were here a few weeks ago. I can tell that you all had a good time and Scot's red nose tells me you spent time in the sun before the rains came.
