Ever since we found out we would be moving to Croatia, Scot and I have been totally enamored by the pictures we have seen of Plitvice National Park. We couldn't wait any longer to go see it, so we hopped in the car on Sunday and drove about 2 hours south of Zagreb to take it all in. We can't wait to see it again after the snow melts and the sun begins to shine once more.
This is the view from the first overlook at Entrance 1. It took our breath away.

A large portion of the park was closed due to the winter season. When it gets warmer, they start running buses and boats between the various parts of the park. This was enough, though, for our first visit with the kids. Like I said above, we really can't wait to get back and expect that most of our upcoming visitors will want to go too. :-)
