A conversation from this morning's kindegarten screening:
Teacher: What about your daddy?
Ava: Daddy is gone on a short trip right now. He's helping make the world healthy.
Teacher: Where did he go?
Ava: He went to a place where there was a big rumble.
Teacher: Oh, is your daddy a doctor?
Ava: No, he's just a daddy.

Love this one!! Nothing wrong with just being a Daddy.
And this is why kindergarten is wonderful... so cute... and so exhausting :)
For 8 Saturdays (Jan & Feb) I have to help with kindergarten through fourth grade basketball... and let me tell you, it's the most exhausting 2 hours of the week!
